Here's a picture from earlier this summer. Stacy and I visited our local winery, Mallow Run. It was very hot, and she decided to take a break from the summer sun and sit in the shade. While she was resting, I took this great photo. Enjoy!!!
Don't forget to take a gander at Squirrel Chatter.

Did Stacey dig in the dirt and take a nice chunk of that Hosta home with her? Because that is exactly what I would have done!
Thanks for participating again!
Looks like a great place to rest for a minute!
That's a cute picture of her:-)
I love wineries and I wish I could get to them more often:-)
She does indeed look like she is having a good rest. Great shot.
Found you on Candid Carrie.
Carrie - We should have grabbed some of that hosta. It was huge. We have several in our yard and each year they get bigger and bigger....
A.men - I love being so close to Mallow Run. By any means, they are a very small winery, but that makes it all the more exciting. The have pizza night and different musicians perform there.
One neat thing about Indiana history, is that they early state legislation never really defined laws surrounding wine production and distribution. Most of the state's laws were wrote and proposed by the founder of the Oliver winery, who had his law degree. Since he also owned a winery, he made it very favorable for his business. Indiana wineries have several advantages over other states as for as laws restricting the sale of wine.
Hey you! A trip to any winery is great but when it's practically in your back yard .... hey! I so miss life in the Wine Valley of CA ~ nothing like dropping into one of the local wineries before a dinner under the stars. Now a days I'm grilling on the back portch in my winter coat ... us Northern folk don't put the grill away for winter ~ we gotta tuffen you up!
