Congratulations to Mallow Run!

Congratulations. My favorite winery, Mallow Run, was awarded the Indiana's Governors Cup at the 2008 Indy International Wine Competition. According to the web, the Governor's Cup is awarded to the "Best Indiana Winery" as determined by overall judging of wines at the Indy competition.

I agree. They have the best rhubarb wine EVER!

Friday Foto Fiesta 11-7-8

Here's a picture from earlier this summer. Stacy and I visited our local winery, Mallow Run. It was very hot, and she decided to take a break from the summer sun and sit in the shade. While she was resting, I took this great photo. Enjoy!!!

Mallow Run Winery Visit

Today, we visited our favorite winery, Mallow Run. It was just a quick lunch stop, but we had fun. We tried their new Strawberry wine, but ended up choosing a sweet, Picnic blush to taste during our lunch.

Cooper, the Mallow Run dog, was a big fan of our cheese tray. Although, he really didn't like the crackers, just cheese.

After awhile, it started to get pretty hot. Stacy took a break from the sun.


In the end, you can't argue with a picture like this. The clouds were beautiful as they floated over the grape vines.
